Ascend to one of the highest points in the Peñas Blancas cloud forest on this guided 4-hour hike, led by local guides — guardians of the mountain and its stories. 🕗 Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM 🧭 Location: Reserva Los Nogales, Macizo de Peñas Blancas 🥾 Trail: Steep forest paths created over 20 years ago, passing through virgin jungle and medicinal plants 🌿 What you’ll discover: Medicinal trees and ancestral plant wisdom The story of how the trail was built Spectacular summit views and clean spring water to drink 👨🏽‍🌾 Guides: Locals with deep knowledge of the land 🎒 What to bring: Water bottle, hiking shoes, long pants, sun protection, and a sense of adventure 💲 Price: $25 for 1 person and $5 for every extra person of the same group. 🔁 While the hike does involve some steep sections and endurance, it’s accessible to anyone with a basic level of fitness and a willingness to take it step by step — even Don Chico, a local elder at over 86 years old, still makes it to the top!
